Busy weekend for Sports & Stadia at Blackburn FC and Wigan Warriors
Last weekend (20th / 21st February) saw MacLeod Pitch Protection systems deployed at Blackburn FC for their FA Cup round 5 televised tie against Liverpool, and also at the DW Stadium where 19,000 supporters watched the Wigan Warriors Super League tie against Brisbane Broncos as part of the World Club Series.

FA Cup Round 4 televised ties protected against Storm Gertrude
The pitches at Carlisle FC and Colchester United FC have been protected from the forces of Storm Gertrude ready for their FA Cup ties this weekend that are being shown live on BT Sport. Colchester United FC play on Saturday against Tottenham, whilst Carlisle FC play Everton on Sunday back at Brunton Park on their newly turfed pitch following the floods before Christmas.

Warwick Racecourse covered for coldest snap so far of this winter
Warwick Racecourse, part of The Jockey Club Group, took the decision to call in Sports & Stadia Services to fully cover the racecourse with frost covers prior to their race day on Saturday 16th January. The frost covers were deployed on Wednesday 13th and protected the course from the freezing temperatures right up to their removal before racing on Saturday morning.
