Sports & Stadia installed the MacLeod Cover to protect the pitch at the LNER Stadium prior to the Lincoln City vs Peterborough United FC lunchtime televised kick off match on Sunday 4th January 2026.
The cold weather that hit the UK over the new year meant that under the ongoing EFL agreement that is in place with Sports & Stadia, the pitch was protected against the cold weather for the days and nights leading up to the match.
