Effectiveness of our expertise

Sports & Stadia proudly protect certain EFL televised fixtures and were utilised over ten times in the  2024/25 season. In one weekend in particular, all fixtures bar three were postponed due to adverse weather conditions (extreme cold.) Of those three fixtures, two were serviced by Sports & Stadia – this exemplifies the effectiveness of our expertise in practice.

The benefits of utilisation of Sports & Stadia Services include:

  • De-risking fixture cancellations
  • Improved Playing Conditions
  • Increased Control
  • Safeguarding Reputation

Reducing  the risk of postponements

For over 24 years Sports & Stadia has serviced the worlds most famous cup competition, the FA cup, on behalf of the FA. With over 100 installations across the country with bespoke conditions of each, Sports & Stadia continues to provide support in the FA’s fixture delivery.

Sports & Stadia looks forward to servicing the Women’s FA cup and certain youth internationals as part of a broadening scope of governing body protection in the 2025/26 season.

“Since 2001 the service has succeeded in significantly reducing the risk of postponements of live televised games in the world’s most famous cup competition. The system has protected participating clubs significant TV revenues and match day revenue streams and ensures that worldwide broadcast coverage is not compromised by a cancellation”
