Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our Site and the provision of services by Sports & Stadia Services (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site or engaging our services, you accept and agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • “Client”, “you”, “your”: the individual or entity engaging our services or using our Site.
  • “Services”: the winter sporting event cover-services and related services offered on our Site.
  • “Agreement”: the contract between us for the Services, plus these Terms and any associated quotation or service order.

2. Use of the Site

  • You may use the Site for your personal or business use in connection with our Services.
  • You must not use the Site for any unlawful or prohibited purposes.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.

3. Engagement of Services

  • If you request Services via the Site or otherwise, we will provide you with a written quotation or service proposal.
  • The Agreement is formed when you accept our quotation, pay any required deposit, and we confirm the booking.
  • Service scope, timing, cost and other specifics will be set out in our quotation/proposal.

4. Fees & Payment

  • Fees for the Services will be as set out in our quotation or proposal.
  • Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit may be required to secure the booking. The balance is due as specified.

5. Client Obligations

You must:

  • Provide accurate and timely information to us (e.g., event details, venue access).
  • Ensure we have necessary access and cooperation at the venue.
  • Comply with all health & safety regulations and site rules.
  • Make any required decisions or approvals in a timely way.

6. Our Obligations & Standards

  • We will perform the Services with reasonable skill and care, in line with industry standards.
  • We will use our experience (10+ years) to advise on weather-related planning and event risk management.
  • We will aim to reduce event-cancellation risk but provide no guarantee of absolute success.

7. Changes & Cancellations

  • If you change the scope of the Services, we will provide a revised quotation and adjust fees/timing accordingly.
  • If you cancel the Services after acceptance, we may charge a cancellation fee (as specified in the quotation or otherwise reasonable).
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule Services due to events outside our control (force majeure) or serious safety concerns; in such cases we will endeavour to minimise disruption.

8. Liability

  • Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation.
  • Subject to that, our total liability to you in respect of all claims arising out of or in connection with the Services or Site shall not exceed the total amount of fees paid by you for the Services.
  • We will not be liable for any consequential or indirect losses (e.g., loss of profit, business interruption) unless expressly agreed in writing.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All intellectual property rights in the Site (including design, text, graphics) and materials we provide remain our property or the property of our licensors.
  • You may use materials provided by us only for the purpose of the Services and shall not reproduce, distribute or commercialise them without our prior written consent.

10. Data Protection

  • We will process any personal data you provide in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • You warrant that where you provide personal data of third parties (e.g., contact names), you have the necessary permission or lawful basis to do so.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will publish the revised version on the Site and indicate the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site or our Services after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. General

  • If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
  • A waiver of any breach of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.
  • No third party shall have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any of these Terms unless expressly stated.
