Preston North End FC have taken ownership of their own bespoke MacLeod Cover System at Deepdale. The system was ordered following discussions with the club and Sports & Stadia following it being used at Deepdale on numerous occasions under retainer agreements that Sports & Stadia have with The FA and the EFL
A team from Sports & Stadia installed and commissioned the system this week working alongside Peter Ashworth and the ground staff at the club.
Peter Ashworth, Head Groundsperson said – ‘We are delighted to take ownership of a new bespoke MacLeod Cover for Deepdale. I look forward to utilising the MacLeod Cover to control and effect the micro-climate thereby enhancing the quality of the playing surface over the coming years. Good to work with Sports & Stadia and their team demonstrating the ease and operation of the system.’
